Freeware: Clothes
A long time ago, over on
MudConnector, we talked about a
neat idea -- freeware objects for new mud admins. Ever wanted to know just
what a tunic looks like, or a pouch? Are you making a mud but feel like an
unimaginative dummy when it comes to your objects? Here are some ideas for
you. Feel free to use these clothes as you like on your own game. Modify
at need. If you take anything here, SciallaMud sure wouldn't mind if you
returned the favor with a few descriptions to share with others!

Body
a purple linen tunic This free-flowing garment
is made of plain linen, dyed a reddish berry-purple. It has a fitted torso
with a keyhole neckline and fitted, rectangular sleeves that end at the
wrist. It flows from neckline to knees, flaring from the waist. The
stitching is adequate, the fit tolerable.

Legs
black woolen leggings Made of woven wool cut on
the bias and dyed black, these opaque tights cover the entire foot and
sole, and the entire leg up to the waist. They tie securely at the waist.
Their construction is adequate, and the fit is tolerable, with only a
slight bagging at the knee. The weaving is not the best, though, and the
wool feels somewhat coarse.

Feet
comfortable low brown boots
They are made of top-grain leather, slouchy and reaching just above the
ankles. Their construction is excellent, with nearly watertight stitching
and thickened leather soles. Inside, they are padded, making them
comfortable for walking long distances in, and slip on and off. There is
no ornamentation or decoration on them.
supple, sueded black books
They are amazingly supple and soft, with a sueded texture, and dyed a
dark, even black. Expertly made, they go to about mid-calf, scrunching
down a bit in a jaunty manner.

Jewelry
a moonstone and silver ring
A slender circle of silver forms a shiny, simply-designed ring. Narrow
enough for a woman to wear, the ring could nonetheless be worn by either
sex. Its top is widened slightly to accommodate its inset moonstone
cabochon. The gem scintillates with an inner translucent glow, faintly
blue but surrounded with a pale nimbus with few inclusions.
